So, yes this is Utah in mid-May. We are at nearly 10,000 feet or 3185 metres according to Helen's watch. There is two feet of snow and it looks superb! Fortunately the road has been snow-ploughed and yesterday was warm enough to clear and dry it, so no rental cars were lost in the making of this blog.
The National Park was closed, but we were able to photograph the wonderful scenery with the unexpected bonus of snow.
