A relaxed dugong! I thought at first the statue was broken, but not so. Master Dugong snuffles his way along, grazing the sea-grass with his flat muzzle.

We are staying in West End and enjoying a relaxed lifestyle while Simon recovered from the Man-flu. Just bringing a little NZ culture to the Aussies. Glad to say I have not got it!

Rather amused at the weather forecast. Some quotes...
A whopping 52mm of rain. Gusty winds of 6 kph.
Overnight temperatures cool at 11 degrees!

Mind you considering how excited he was about the 2ml that fell three days ago, I can see that 52ml is indeed whopping.
Queenslanders will go to all lengths to keep the sun off the windows. The time honoured Raj answer is gracious. Some modern answers are interesting, others ghastly.
The Brisbane skyline is imposing from anywhere, but most especially from the river-cats.
The cafe culture attracts the strangest customers.
